Water well machinery refers to the general term for mechanical equipment used for drilling water wells, extracting groundwater, and performing related operations such as well casing installation and well cleaning. It includes components such as power equipment, drill bits, drill rods, core casings, and drill frames, and is widely used in agricultural irrigation, residential water supply, and industrial water use.
Based on their working principles, water well machinery is mainly divided into three categories:
Rotary Drilling Rigs: Rely on the rotation of the drill bit to break rock formations; suitable for various geological formations and with high efficiency.
Percussion Drilling Rigs: Use a drill bit to vertically and reciprocally impact and break formations; suitable for hard rock or pebble layers, but cuttings removal and drilling cannot be synchronized, resulting in lower efficiency.
Combined Drilling Rigs: Combine rotary and percussion functions; adaptable to complex geological conditions and highly flexible.
