Cleaning Methods For Water Well Machinery

Water well machinery cleaning methods mainly include physical flushing, mechanical dredging, and pneumatic impaction. The core principle is to remove sediment, silt, and biofilm from the well walls and bottom using physical force.

Piston Suction Method: A specially designed piston moves rapidly up and down inside the well casing, creating a strong water pressure difference to extract sediment. This method is suitable for medium to deep wells, effectively breaking down the mud skin on the well walls and clearing the aquifer.

High-Pressure Water Gun Flushing: Utilizing a high-pressure water flow of 6–8 MPa to directly flush the well walls, suitable for shallow wells (around 20 meters) to remove silt and deposits. It can be used in conjunction with a submersible pump for circulation flushing until the water is clear.

Air Compressor Flushing (Compressed Air Well Washing): High-pressure airflow instantly ejects a water column from the well casing, using the recoil force to carry away impurities. Particularly effective for deep wells over 30 meters. This method thoroughly disturbs sediment within the well, improving cleaning efficiency.

Mechanical scrubbing method: This method uses a mechanical brush head or scraper to rotate and scrub along the well wall to remove attached scale, iron bacteria, and biofilm. For deep wells, remote control devices or down-the-line cleaning tools (such as well gauges, grinding cutters, etc.) can be used for the operation.
