What it's actually like to use
Most impactors look fine on paper, but after 500 meters of hard rock, the internal valves start to stick. We used a valveless design for the 35A, 45A, and 55A series. It's a bit heavier than some cheap alternatives in the market, but that extra weight comes from the thicker alloy wall-which means it won't crack when you're pushing 2.5 MPa through it.

Real Talk (The "Small Catch")
The surface finish might get scratched during shipping because they are heavy steel units, and yes, they require a bit more oil than low-pressure models to keep that piston moving smoothly. But if you keep the lubrication right, these units will outlast two or three "budget" impactors easily.
Quick Guide: 35A vs 45A vs 55A
35A (For the tight spots): Best for 90mm-105mm holes. It's slim, easy to handle, and perfect for smaller quarrying jobs where you don't want to drag a massive com pressor around.
45A (The workhorse): This is our most popular size. If you're doing water wells or foundation piling (115mm-135mm), this is the one you'll keep on the rig most of the time. It's balanced and reliable.
55A (The heavy hitter): For big mining projects or deep exploration (135mm+). It's a beast. It needs a lot of air, but the speed at which it eats through rock is worth the air cost.
FAQ (Things our customers actually ask)
Q: My air pressure is fluctuating. Will this damage the impactor?
A: This High-pressure down-the-hole impactor is built for 1.0 to 2.5 MPa. If your pressure drops slightly, it'll just slow down. But if you're constantly over 2.5 MPa, the internal heat will kill it. Keep an eye on your gauges, and it'll treat you well.
Q: Why is your 45A more expensive than the local generic brand?
A: It's all in the heat treatment. The local ones look the same, but their piston often shatters after 100 hours because the steel is too brittle. We use a slower, more expensive quenching process. You pay more now, but you don't stop the whole site to fish a broken piston out of a 50-meter hole.
Q: Does it come with the bit?
A: No, the impactor and the drill bits are sold separately because everyone has different rock conditions. However, we can package them together to save you on shipping costs.
Q: How often do I need to oil it?
A: Every hour. If you see the bit shank looks dry and "burnt," you're not using enough rock drill oil. A well-oiled High-pressure down-the-hole impactor should have a thin film of oil on all moving parts when you open it up.
